May Day

When you mention May Day, images of children with flowers in their hair running round a Maypole or Morris dancers waving handkerchiefs often spring to mind, but not everyone knows that it’s also the anniversary of International Workers day.
Made an official Bank holiday in 1978, May Day is a time to celebrate organised Labor and solidarity. We at Aston Elite stumbled across this Informative Article from the Guardian written back in 2012 and thought it might be interesting.
